Description

We have a need for a Senior Business Analyst for a client and project in the Columbus, OH area. The project involves the development of a new enterprise business software application which will assist in automating price quotes and pricing services to the organization’s client base.  This project has high visibility at the executive management level. 

Because of the data-intensiveness and data-driven nature of the application being built, the ideal candidate MUST possess not only extensive and proven business analysis and requirements gathering experience but candidate MUST also possess deep and broad domain knowledge in the data warehousing and business intelligence space.  

Candidate MUST possess knowledge of latest tools and techniques in data warehouse and business intelligence space in order to serve as an advisor and recommender to the technical project team in order to help guide team and provide insight and input as to technical direction and solution options available.    

Candidate MUST show an understanding of data processes such as data cleansing, data source definition, data quality and validation, data ownership, data transformation and normalization requirements and techniques, etc.   

In addition, Candidate will be required to assist with coordinating User Acceptance Test Planning, QA Testing, Reporting and Documentation.   

Candidate must have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral and have working knowledge of latest project management, project execution methodologies such as RUP and testing tools.   

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• 5+ years of experience working with SDLC methods and processes
• Ability to work with customers to provide software solutions to develop and deploy complex business applications
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong business process modeling skills
